In case, you have opted for Reliance General Student Travel Insurance, you can get coverage for the following scenarios.

Emergency Medical Expenses: This policy pays the emergency medical expenses incurred by you whilst abroad. It also includes expenses for medical evacuation to India and repatriation of mortal remains.

Total Loss of Checked-In Baggage: It compensates the insured for the total loss of checked-in baggage on a trip. Maximum amount payable per checked-in baggage, in case more than one bag has been checked-in, is 50% of the applicable Sum Insured. In case of only one bag being checked-in, the amount payable is 100% of the applicable Sum Insured.

Loss of Passport: It reimburses the cost incurred in connection to obtaining a fresh or duplicate passport in case of a lost passport during a trip.

Personal Accident: This policy compensates the insured or his/her legal heir for any accidental injury occurring during the period of insurance resulting to disablement or death within 12 calendar months from the occurrence of such injury. It provides death cover up to 100% of the sum insured. Disablement is covered up to a specific percentage of the sum insured, as specified under the policy. It provides up to 50% of the sum insured for total and irrecoverable loss of sight of one eye or one entire hand or one entire foot.

Dental Treatment: It pays or reimburses the Insured expenses incurred on acute anesthetic treatment of a natural tooth or teeth during the stay abroad.

Bail Bond: It pays an amount up to the sum insured towards payment of the bail amount, in case the insured is arrested or detained.

Moreover, it provides cover against accidental death, personal liability, compassionate visit, study interruption, sponsor protection.
