LIC’s Jeevan Arogya is a non participating, non linked plan which provides the health insurance cover against the specified health risks covered in the plan.This plan helps you to become financially independent in the event of hospitalization.

Policy Benefits

  • Hospital cash benefit (HCB) is available under this plan which is a lumpsum benefit.
  • Major Surgical Benefit is payable in case the insured undergoes any surgery.
  • Day Care Procedure Benefit is payable under this plan.
  • Other surgical benefits cover those Surgeries which are not covered under the major surgical benefit will be covered under this category.
  • Additional Riders which are an Accidental Benefit rider and Term Assurance Rider are available under this plan.

Value Added Benefits

  • No Claim benefit is available at 5% of the initial daily benefit under this plan which leads to increasing health cover.
  • Flexible Premium payment options.
  • Cover can be extended to new additions to the family.
  • Ambulance expenses covered as per the limits.
  • Premium Waiver Benefit is also available under this plan.

Sub Limits

  • Hospital Cash Benefit can be opted between Rs 1000 to Rs 4000 per day in the multiples of 1’000. This plan is capped upto Rs 4000 per day for maximum 720 days and upto Rs 8000 per day for maximum 360 days in ICU.
  • Major Surgical benefit is capped annually at 100 % of your hospital cash benefit and 800% of your hospital cash benefit for the entire policy period.
  • Day care procedure expenses are capped at 5 times of the applicable daily benefit.
  • Ambulance expenses covered as Rs 1,000 per insured for a policy period.

Waiting Period Clause

  • Initial Waiting Period: Initial 90 days of the policy start date,waiting period for newly incurred diseases except those arising out of accidents.
  • Specific Waiting Period: Specific waiting period of 2 years is applicable for the listed surgeries.
  • Pre existing Disease Waiting Period: This plan has a waiting period of 4 years to cover pre existing diseases.
