Policy Benefits

In-patient hospitalization expenses are covered as mentioned in the Policy.
Pre hospitalization expenses are covered up to a maximum of 60 days before you are hospitalized and Post hospitalization expenses are covered up to a maximum of 90 days after you are discharged.
144 day care procedures which need the insured to be hospitalized for less than 24 hours are covered.
Domiciliary treatment expenses are covered under this plan.
Organ donor expenses incurred towards harvesting the organ are covered.
Convalescence benefit is covered, in case hospitalization exceeding 10 continuous days.
Newborn baby cover is applicable till 90 days from his/her birth.
Maternity expenses are covered and it also includes pre & post natal expenses.
E-opinion in case of critical illness is available under this Plan.

Value Added Benefits

Get Cumulative Bonus by 5% of the sum insured for each claim free policy year, up to a maximum of 50% of the base sum insured, applicable for all three plan options.
Ambulance Charges are covered under this plan.
No capping towards medical expenses incurred under AYUSH treatment.
Health check-up is covered after 4 continuous claim free policy years.
Avail tax benefits u/s 80D as per IT Act, 1961 for premium paid for this plan.

Sub Limits

No sub-limit on the room rent applicable under this plan.
A lump sum amount of maximum of 1% of the sum insured up to Rs 10,000 is payable towards Convalescence benefit.
Maternity expenses related to Normal Delivery/Termination are covered up to Rs 15000, LSCS Rs 25000, Pre/Post Natal limit of Rs. 1500 and New Born limit of Rs. 2000.
Ambulance charges are payable as Rs 2000 or Rs 3500, depending on the chosen sum insured.
Health check-up is covered up to 1% of the sum insured, subject to a maximum of Rs 5,000 per insured person.

Waiting Period Clause

Initial Waiting Period: A waiting period of 30 days from the inception date for all hospitalization claims except in case of accidents.
Specific Waiting Period: 24 months Waiting Period will be applicable for specific illnesses.
Pre existing Disease Waiting Period: Any pre-existing ailment/injury that was diagnosed /acquired within 48 months from the issuance of the first policy.
Maternity Waiting Period: Medical expenses incurred towards maternity are covered after a waiting period of 4 years.
