The surrender value is equal to the value higher of Guaranteed Surrender Value (GSV) and Special surrender value will be payable as surrender value. The premium must be paid for 3 policy years from inception to avail surrender value.

Base sum assured of Rs 5 Lacs is payable to Amit.
Scenario 1: Amit dies during the policy term
Death sum assured is payable on death which is higher of 10 times the Annualised Premium or Sum Assured or 105% of the total premiums paid (excluding Service Tax, extra premiums, if any) till date of death.
