This plan is specially designed for those are planning to have a family. The waiting period to avail maternity related claims is also kept in sync with the natures law for 9 months. Policy Benefits

Maternity related hospitalization expenses, including Pre & Post natal expenses for the delivery of the child are covered.This cover is available upto 45 years of age.
Newborn baby cover is available which covers medical expenses of your newborn from birth till completion of 90 days.You may cover your new born post 90 days on payment of additional premium.
Inpatient hospitalization expenses are covered upto the sum insured limits for a minimum stay of 24 hours.
Day care treatments which require hospitalization for less than 24 hours are also covered.
Pre hospitalization expenses such as investigative tests and medication are covered upto 30 days before hospitalization.
Post hospitalization expenses such as follow up visits, medication,medical expenses incurred post discharge from the hospitalization are covered upto 60 days.
Cashless treatment under list of network hospitals.

Lifelong Renewability option is available under this plan.
Ambulance cover upto Rs 1,000 per claim can be reimbursed under the policy.
No Pre policy medical check-up upto 45 years of age.
No Claim Bonanz cover is optional where bonus upto 100% of sum insured is received in case f no claims for 3 years.
Tax Benefit under section 80D of Income Tax Act, 1961.

Sub Limits

Room Rent Limit: Single private room can be availed under this plan.
Co pay applies if the insured enrolls at 61 years of age. Copay limit is 20% of the claim amount under the policy.
Expenses incurred towards ambulance charges are covered up to Rs 1,000 per claim.
Maternity cover (including pre & post natal expenses) is available up to Rs 35,000/Rs 50,000 for SI 3 Lacs/5 Lacs, respectively.
Newborn Baby cover is available up to Rs 30,000/Rs 50,000 for SI 3 Lacs/5 Lacs, respectively.

Waiting Period Clause

Initial Waiting Period: Any illness within first 30 days of the policy inception, except those arising out of accidents is not covered.
Maternity Waiting Period: 9 months from inception is the waiting period for Joy today and 24 months for Joy Tomorrow to get maternity related claims.
Specific Waiting Period: Specific treatments/illnesses are covered after 2 years of continuous policy years.
Pre existing Disease Waiting Period: Any pre-existing ailment/injury that was diagnosed /acquired within 4 years prior to issuance of the first policy.
